Two slightly different takes on one of my favorite photo locations today. The sunrise that I went to see didn’t turn out very colorful so I tried a few different things. For the shot of the pier I used a neutral density filter to smooth the water and then ending up converting to black and white as there was not much color to start with. For the second shot I was able to find a break through the mangroves to capture the end of the pier. The mangroves added a little color to the scene.
