I made a quick trip out this morning to Ballast Point to catch the sunrise. There were a lot of clouds overall, but there was a good break where the sun was rising which was perfect. The clouds lit up with some nice color, but did not block my view of the sunrise. The first shot I took while waiting for the sunrise was a shot with my telephoto lens of downtown Tampa. I love how the Suntrust building is lit up to celebrate the season opening win of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
