Due to the government shutdown, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and all the national Parks are closed to the public. I feel bad for anyone who has planned a trip to any of our national parks right now that is being interrupted by this childish fighting. This is a great time of year to travel to the parks and I have been to Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Acadia National Park around this time of year recently.
