If you don’t have a boat there are a couple of options to photograph the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in St Petersburg, Florida. One option is from the East Beach turnaround at Fort Desoto Park in Tierra Verde. This requires a longer lens and is best at a certain time of year to capture the sunrise between the spans of the bridge. The other two options are the Skyway Bridge fishing piers. These are portions of the old highway that are now open only for fishing and sightseeing. Theses shots were both taken at sunrise. The first shot is from the South Skyway Fishing pier and the second is from the north. You can see the different look that you get from each location.
