I’m starting to do the planning for our upcoming trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway in October. We are both really looking forward to it. These are a couple of the classic scenes from Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Sunrise at Clingmans Dome is a must see in my opinion and one of the best places to watch a sunrise that I have ever been. Cades Cove in the morning can also be very special, especially when there is a nice layer of fog hanging in the valley.
