Orlando Wetlands Park Again

Since it was so productive last week and I am in my last week out of work I decided to return to Orlando Wetlands Park. The morning started out pretty foggy but turned out pretty nice. I of course first spent some time with the Sandhill Crane family. The colts are now about 2 weeks old and growing quickly. Their parents are teaching them how to find food such as worms, eggs, and insects especially dragonflies/damselflies. Afterwards I got a couple decent flight shots of a Red-shouldered Hawk and then a Limpkin. I saw two gator crossings and several sunbathing. Another highlight was seeing both a Least Bittern and an American Bittern which I photographed catching a crayfish. Finally, I found a pretty small Striped Mud Turtle crossing the trail on my last lap.
