Morning in Nature

I had the morning off today so made a trip to… you guessed it, the Circle B Bar Reserve. I still have trouble going anywhere else because I know if I go there for a few hours I will definitely come home with some cool pictures. This morning was beautiful with the full moon setting and then the sun rising over the lake. I was searching for something to pair with the full moon but could never get anything in the right spot. I took a bunch of pictures of a great blue heron which I usually ignore unless they are doing something cool because it was sitting in some perfect light. I also followed a young racoon for a bit and got a few shots of him. On the way out I got a few pics of some red-shouldered hawks mating and a bald eagle.

All were great but loved the sunlit path!
