Fort Desoto Sunrise and Birds

Took a trip out to Fort Desoto on Saturday morning. The goal was to capture the sunrise centered over the Skyway Bridge. I did get it although the clouds interfered somewhat. Afterwards I wandered around a little to photograph birds. I got some really good shots of the American Oystercatchers which are pretty cool looking birds. I also took about 150 photos of a great blue heron trying to swallow a fish.

Getting up early is worth it for the brat sunrises and amazing bird shots!
