Took a morning trip to the Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland for a little wildlife and nature on Monday. I got there in time for the sunrise over the lake which was decent. Shortly after sunrise I found a Barred Owl very close to the trail. I hadn’t seen any owls in a bit so it was nice to get a little time with one. Other than that it was mostly the normal wading birds and alligators. I took a bunch of photos of some insects and spiders also. Finally I found a mommy gator with some pretty new babies. You can even see some of the egg shell in this photo.
