Just returned from a family trip where my family and my sisters family met up in the Smoky Mountains. We stayed at a beautiful mountainside cabin where we saw bears almost every day. We did a lot of the touristy stuff and less of the park stuff this trip but everyone seemed to enjoy it. I did not get to do as much photography as normal but still took some decent photos here and there. On this page I am going to post some of the landscapes and a few pics of the cabin. I will make another page for the wildlife we saw.

The below phot was taken when I drove into Great Smoky Mountains National Park to try to capture the Milky Way. From this viewpoint where I wanted to shot, the fog was so thick you couldn’t see 5 feet. The below shots of the Milky Way were taken during very Brief breaks in the clouds from other viewpoints.
