Myself and a group of friends went out shooting the Milky Way again on Saturday night (Really Sunday morning I guess 12:30-3:30ish). This time we stayed closed to home and shot from Pass-a-Grille Beach. It is weird shooting it from there as it is so much lighter than places you would normally go to shoot it, but it worked out pretty good. It was even light enough I took a self portrait with the Milky Way. This was my 4th time shooting the Milky Way and second time this year. I am definitely learning a few new tricks each time and am happy with the details I am getting in the photos. Now just need to learn how to get a little more color in them and I will be really happy.
I have been in Florida for a little over 50 years and never knew you could see the a milky Way this far south. Guess I don’t need to go to Alaska or Canada. Thanks
