Circle B Again

Have I mentioned that I enjoy visiting the Circle B Bar Reserve. I was back for my fourth trip in the last month and a half. This time my oldest daughter Lindsay went with me which was nice. Highlights besides the usual gators and wading birds were a Painted Bunting which I got a decent front shot of, but could not get the more colorful topside. We saw a very photogenic younger raccoon up in a big oak tree. Then I watched a great blue heron swallow an enormous Black Crappie. It took awhile for the bird to accomplish this but it finally go the fish down somehow. The last highlight for me was a Northern Harrier which landed very close by and allowed me to get some nice pictures.

I am looking at all these pictures and I keep saying, “I love this picture. It is my favorite.” Then I look at another picture and say, “This is my favorite picture. I love it.” And on it goes.
Love the Great Blue Heron swallowing the crappie, the painted bunting, the flyby and every other picture. Soectaculat
