On a weekday morning that I happened to be off I made the decision to shoot sunrise at Julian Lane Park in Tampa. From there you have a good angle of the sunrise behind the Straz Center and downtown Tampa. Shortly after I arrived I by chance met a fellow photographer, Josh Herrington and we got to shoot together. It turned out to be one of the most colorful presunrises I have ever captured. Once the sun actually came up it wasn’t too exciting, but the light just before that was amazing. It ended up with one photo being by far my most viral photo (Tampa Vertical Sunrise). Not bad for a quick mornings work.
