I went to photograph the 4th of July fireworks in Tampa last night. I got to my shooting spot an hour and a half early and there was already quite a few people around. I setup and waited. And waited and waited. The 9:15 fireworks did not actually go off until 10:30. Once the show started, the fireworks themselves were pretty nice. The next problem was getting out of the Tampa General parking garage. I sat for almost an hour with no movement before finally getting out. I got home from the “9:15” fireworks at almost midnight.
