Sunshine Skyway Bridge and Fort Desoto

Off of work today so made a trip over to the St Pete side which I have kind of neglected for awhile. I started a the South Skyway Fishing Pier and photographed the Sunshine Skyway Bridge lights and watched the sun come up. The Sunrise itself wasn’t spectacular, but I got a few nice ones of the bridge lights. Afterwards I headed over to Fort Desoto. The highlights were nesting Least terns with babies, a Snowy Plover sitting on some eggs and both a white morph and red morph Reddish Egret. I watched the white morph hunt for almost half an hour. Then it suddenly flew off and the red morph landed 20 feet away from me. Got a nice collection of shots and was home by 10:15.
