Gators in the Glades

Gators are what the Everglades ecosystem is all about. They help create water holes in teh dry season which helps sustain life in the Glades. We saw a lot of gators plus one american crocodile. South Florida is the only place in the world where alligators and crocodiles lives together. The crocodiles usually stick to the salt water and the gators to the fresh water though. We also saw quite a few baby gators, some of which were pretty close to us.
