Took a trip out to Fort Desoto for the first time in awhile this morning. There have been some changes. They actually lock the gate now so you can’t get in until they man the toll booth at 7 AM. I had to backtrack to find a different sunrise location as my goal was to shoot the Skyway Bridge. It worked out ok and I got some nice ones of the bridge lit up. It was super windy though. I then went to North Beach which is very different from the past. I found a bunch of sand dollars that I brought home for my girls. I did not however find any shore birds. I then hit a few other stops up and down the park and saw a bunch of Ospreys, a loggerhead shrike, a parakeet, a nice redhead duck, and a Northern Gannet.
