Since I had the day off today I ran out for a little morning photography at Picnic Island. My main goal was to capture the full moon and I got a few interesting shots, although not what I was envisioning. I was actually looking for a viewpoint on the water a little further north to try to get the moon with the Gandy Bridge but could not find a good access point. The photos with the cormorant in front of the moon were idea number two and came out pretty decent. There were also a bunch of Mergansers and White Pelicans offshore this morning so I got a few shots of those also.
