The Tampa Riverwalk has definitely done a good job of expanding downtown Tampa northward. Before the Riverwalk was put in, I never really went north of the Straz Center area. Now with the opening of Julian Lane Park and the Tampa River Center and Waterworks Park with Ulele and Sparkman Wharf, there are a lot of reasons to check out this area. I was happy with this photo of Ulele as I was able to capture some nice sunrise colors and a little feeding frenzy in the water of Ulele Spring. The Tampa River Center at Julian Lane Park is a place that I like to capture before dawn as I love the contrast of the warm lights of the river center with the cool colors of the sky and the Hillsborough River.
