During our trip to California we visited several national parks including the adjoining Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. Sequoia National Park was on the list of my must see places on our trip and we definitely enjoyed seeing the massive trees. Kings Canyon however I had barely even heard of prior to the trip. We did not spend much time in Kings Canyon but drove through most of it one day and it is a really pretty park. There are a lot of nice mountains, streams and a couple of smaller waterfalls not too far off the road. Definitely worth a few hours if you are nearby.
