For our family vacation this year, we spent a week exploring South Dakota including Custer State Park, Badlands National Park, Mount Rushmore and Devils Tower Wyoming, and then spent a week relaxing at my parent’s cabin in Minnesota. Their cabin is on Dead Lake which is in the northwestern part of the state. We didn’t get too many good sunsets, but on the 4th of July, there was a beautiful colorful sunset. There were a lot of nice orange and yellow colors initially and then as the sun went down, the sky began to have more blue and purple mixed in.
