Definitely one of the best photography nights of our family trip was when I was able to photograph the full moon rising in Badlands National Park. After photographing the large family of bighorn sheep we drove to an overlook and setup to capture the sunset. The place we setup also happened to be a perfect place to capture the full moon rising over the Badland formations. There were several people up on the formations (although they probably shouldn’t have been) which was perfect for adding a little interest to the scene.
