I haven’t posted anything in the last two weeks as we were on vacation in South Dakota and Minnesota. We spent some time in Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, and Badlands National Park and I will have pictures coming soon. In the meantime, here are a few more of the cool birds we saw in Costa Rica last year. All of these were new to me. The Spectacled Owls were resting at our first lodge just over one of the main trails. The Rufous Motmot was seen at Mystico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park. We did not see any toucans until our very last lodge which was down on the Osa Peninsula.
