Baby animals are always cute, but hard to photograph. On my recent trip to the Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland I saw and photographed a young Barred Owl, a young Sandhill Crane, some baby Limpkins, and baby Common Moorhens. Not bad for one morning. Today’s post is of the baby Limpkins. I have only seen baby Limpkins 2 other times and they were not as cooperative as these were. Limpkins are normally a little shy/secretive and can be a little difficult to photograph as it is. However, this mother and 3 babies, must be fairly used to people because they didn’t mind me being nearby to photograph them. Pretty cute!
