Famous San Francisco Views

During our family vacation to California this past summer, I did my best to make it to as many of the iconic viewpoints as I could, especially in San Francisco. The Golden Gate Bridge is definitely the most famous icon with Alcatraz probably close behind. I photographed the Golden Gate Bridge from Fort Point for this photo which allowed me to include the foreground chain. One evening I also photographed the bridge from Hawk Hill in the Marin Headlands. The second photo today is from a park called Alamo Square Park. This row of Victorian houses are called the Painted Ladies. From teh park you can capture the city of San Francisco in the background of these beautiful houses. PS. Despite what many people think none of these are the house from the TV show Full House. It is about a mile or so from here off another side street.
