It has been so hot in Florida this summer that I am wishing for fall. Thinking of fall always brings me back to our fall trip up to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We spent our honeymoon in that area and returned 10 years later for a second honeymoon. We spent a little over a week exploring the area with Boone, North Carolina as our home base. Being a Florida boy all my life, I have had limited opportunity to see fall colors. The first shot is just an open view of some valleys and mountains with some beautiful fall color. The second shot is of the famous Lynn Cove Viaduct, but not taken from the classic angle.
