Tonight Tampa is hosting the Championship game for Women’s College Basketball at Amelie Arena. Today I visited a bunch of the hotels and walked around the Arena area. Tampa has done a good job putting on the event and has signs throughout the city. There are also nice sand sculptures at Amelie Arena and at several of the downtown hotels. Tampa is definitely growing up as a city.
