Friday evening Tampa held an event called Fansparilla to welcome the women’s Final Four to Tampa. The event was held at the Tampa Convention Center and the Sail Pavilion along the Hillsborough River. I did not attend the main event so I don’t know what all they had going on over there, but I know they had music. I of course showed up for the fireworks. The best thing from my perspective is that the barge firing off the fireworks actually moved down between Tampa General Hospital (where I was) and the Tampa Convention Center/downtown. This lined the fireworks up perfectly for me. They put on a pretty good little show and I ended up with some of my favorite fireworks shots. All of these are single exposures.
