Last weekend I finally had the chance to make it back to the downtown area to take some new photos. I met a fellow Tampa photographer, Jason Ludwig of Freeway Photography. We had a good time talking about photography and hanging out in some beautiful weather. We spent almost the entire time around the Tampa Convention Center, Sail Pavilion, and Harbour Island. The first shot is of the Tampa Convention Center and the Sail Pavilion. The Jose Gasparilla is still parked there after Gasparilla. While I was taking pictures two guys started paddle boarding out from the Sail Pavillion area. The second shot is just after sunset and was taken from Harbour Island looking back towards Amalie Arena, downtown Tampa, and Tampa General Hospital.
