The Skypoint condo in downtown Tampa is a cool building which has special meaning to me as it was the location of my first photography show. A couple of years ago I was contacted by an interior decorator who was working at Skypoint who wanted a large picture of Skypoint to hang in the lobby. She originally requested something over the top in terms of colors and so I tried it many versions of the shot below. She actually ended up selecting a much more standard shot which you can see at the end of this post. That’s how I got my foot in the door and eventually ended up having a photo shoot from the roof of the building and finally my first show almost a year ago.
