I was able to take my first photo outing in almost two months tonight. The main goals were to capture the Amalie Arena and the full moon (more on that tomorrow). I got a few good shots of both so am pretty happy with the outcome. Amalie Arena is the new name for the Tampa Bay Times Forum, home of the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team. Tomorrow night, Thursday October 9th is opening night for the Lightning so I wanted to have a few decent shots to post. I needed to go capture a few new ones as the name and therefore the signs on the building had changed and I wanted to stay current. I also decided to mix in some of my previous lightning shots for what I feel are pretty obvious reasons. On my return back to the area later in the evening there was a dance team rehearsing in the plaza. I assume they were practicing for opening night.
