By far my two favorite buildings to photograph in St Petersburg are the pier and the Salvador Dali Museum. With the pier being surrounded by water I usually try to get an angle that incorporates the water. This works especially well around sunrise. I’m hoping that St Petersburg gets the whole pier issue worked out soon. The Salvador Dali Museum has a great design and I look for new angles all the time. I think this is the first time I have shot it with the fisheye lens which allows the palm trees to wrap around the building.
