Well, It has been a busy couple of months for me with my photography. Here are a few of the highlights that I have experienced recently.

I sold 4 large canvas prints that are now hanging in the Yaya’s Restaurant in St Petersburg.
Here is a photo of 3 of them.

I had my first TV appearance. I was featured on the local section of the TV show The List in the beginning of May. Video is here.

I also had my first photography show. It took place at Skypoint in downtown Tampa on May 13th. The event went very well and I got to meet a lot of nice people. I made some good contacts got to share my photography, and even sold a photo or two.

One of the things that came from my show was reestablishing a contact I had at Tampa Theatre. Because of this I got to do an exclusive photo shoot in Tampa Theatre where I had the whole place to myself for about an hour and a half. A few of these photos are likely going to be used for postcards to sell in the lobby in the near future. Here are two of my favorite shots from that day.

Finally, I also had a request to do an HDR workshop from one of the attendees of my show. I put together a pretty detailed tutorial and did my first one on one workshop. Everything went well and I was able to teach the basics about camera settings, setup, and shooting over at Plant Park at the University of Tampa. This was followed by working through a couple of the images and showing off how I process the photos on the computer. Here are my two favorite images from that morning.

You’re “off and running”! Awesome photos. The fisheye lens certainly shows things differently.
