Last week I got a chance to have Tampa Theatre all to myself for about an hour and a half. This is one of the first big things that came from having my show at the beginning of the month. At my show I reconnected with someone who works at Tampa Theatre. They are planning on redoing the postcards that they sell in the gift shop and wanted to use some of my photos. They said they could use some of my old photos or I could have exclusive access to shoot some new ones. You can guess how long that decision took me. It was great to have the empty theater all to myself with no people walking through and no time pressure. I got a lot of really good photos and am still working on processing them but decided to start rolling them out. The other thing about these photos is that I have started working with a new processing method. I just started playing with it, but so far I am really pleased with the result of the Merge to 32 bit HDR method. You can always learn new tricks.
