The Lightner Museum, formerly the Alcazar Hotel, in St Augustine is one of the most interesting buildings in Florida. I like the symmetry of the two towers and the fountain out front. However, all of the other photos I took of this building were lacking a little something. I wasn’t sure quite what it was until the evening I shot this. We were actually across the street at Flagler College when I saw the horse and carriage coming and I immediately saw the photo coming together. I hurried over to the edge of the road and snapped an HDR bracket or two as the horse and carriage went past. Once I got home and edited this picture I knew that I had captured something special.
The other shot tonight is yet another shot of the Castillo de San Marcos during the beautiful sunrise I saw while visiting St Augustine. This shot is very similar to one I previously posted except for the position of the sun in the photo. Love those clouds!
