One month and counting until my show at Skypoint Tampa on May 13, 2014 at 7-9 PM.
Tonight’s shot is a shot of the downtown Tampa skyline, but from a less traditional viewpoint. This shot was taken from Ballast Point Park which is on the far southern end of Bayshore Boulevard. Because this is a long distance away, I used my telephoto lens to capture this view of the city. One thing that happens when you use a telephoto lens for this type of photo is that it compresses the scene. That is why the buildings look kind of “stacked” on top of one another.
