It has been awhile since I posted any of my Blue Ridge Parkway photos and I was recently looking through them to pick one to print as a canvas for our house. The Lynn Cove Viaduct to me is really the essence of the Blue Ridge Parkway. This section of curving roadway is supported by huge pillars and almost hangs there right beside the mountains with its curves hugging the mountain walls. Of course, you can’t beat fall for traveling the Parkway. The second shot is also of the Lynn Cove Viaduct, but this time from the Tanawaha Trail. In this photo you can just see little stretches of the parkway popping out from between the trees.
