Patterns from above

One of the reasons I look for different angles to take photos from is that it can really change the way things look. The two shots tonight are both from my session of shooting from the Skypoint building in downtown Tampa. Both of these shots tonight are taken looking almost straight down which gives a totally different perspective to these subjects. The first shot is of the fountain area of Curtis Hixon Park. I have photographed it from street level before, but from this angle you can see a lot more of the patterns and shapes. The second shot is actually just an adjacent rooftop. The old helipad, air conditioner units, and solar panels make interesting patterns when viewed from above.
