I think I have probably used the title St Petersburg Sunrise for multiple posts, but I could not think of anything more appropriate for this one. These shots are from the day I went out to see the partial solar eclipse. While waiting for the sunrise, one sailboat left the harbor and sailed directly towards the spot where the sun was about to rise. The boat, the Special Liberty, is based in St Petersburg and I liked the vertical crop for this shot. The second shot is another view of the St Petersburg skyline getting bathed in the warm sunrise light.
