Weedon Island Preserve

Weedon Island Preserve is one of the closest parks to my house and therefore one of my most visited. Weedon Island has a nice boardwalk trail that goes to an observation tower with good views of the area. That is where the first picture from tonight was taken from. I love the way the boardwalk twists between the trees. If you look closely, the red dot in the top of the screen is someone coming along the boardwalk. There is also a longer boardwalk that goes out over the water more which is great to visit during low tide. The boardwalk twists and turns among the mangrove trees. I just equate mangrove trees with Florida. Here I captured a WHite Ibis feeding among the trees.
