Sun and Moon, Dry Tortugas National Park

Dry Tortugas National Park is one of the more difficult parks to get to. It is an almost 70 mile boat ride or float plane ride from Key West, Florida. That is one of the reasons that I highly recommend staying a night or two on the island. After the boat leaves it is much quieter. You also get the opportunity to watch sunset and moonrise. I was there with a full moon and captured it lighting up the Garden Key Lighthouse. The next morning I was able to capture the sunrise over Bush Key as the birds blasted off for the morning.
