Tampa has a few pieces of “art” scattered around downtown. My favorite is the “Tampa Postcard”. This was painted by Carl Cowden the 3rd and then was redone in 2012 before the Republican National Convention was in town. I love the colors and the weaving together of a lot of the most unique things about the Tampa Bay area. The second shot tonight is of a mosaic mural. I do not know what the story behind it is, but there are many panels depicting different scenes related to Tampa Bay.
