The two shots tonight are both taken from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The first shot required a 1/2 mile hike to the viewpoint on the Tanawaha Trail to the overlook that looks towards the Lynn Cove Viaduct. I used the telephoto lens to zoom in on the viaduct as it cuts through the fall colors. The second shot was 10 feet from the parkway. The tricky part about this shot was that you could not see the rainbow from the road. It was only when I walked down to the level of the dam that it showed up.
