After shooting the sunrise and waiting for the right light to fall on the Lynn Cove Viaduct from the classic location I headed back up the Blue Ridge Parkway to the Tanawaha Trail. I read that this was a can’t miss trail and the beginning of it had some great views back toward the viaduct and Grandfather Mountain. After leaving there I stopped at Price Lake and could not resist the reflection shots especially with a little mist still hanging over the lake. I ended up with quite a few shots that I really liked and it was only about 9:10 in the morning.
