This morning I took another trip back to Edward Medard Park and Reservoir for another shot at the Snail Kites. I had a little better luck today. I probably stayed for about 1 1/2 hours and they flew over maybe 5-6 times. These are definitely the best shots I have ever taken of a Snail Kite. One piece of advice for anyone going to shoot them is to set the exposure manually for the flight shots. Because they fly in front of clouds, blue sky, and then trees and all of those will change the exposure.
