My first lightning shot

Well, despite living in Florida my whole life and doing photography for almost 10 years, I finally captured my first lightning shot the other night. Unfortunately I couldn’t get any big bolts as most of it was behind the clouds, but at least I caught part of a bolt. The shot was taken from the top of a parking garage that I had never been up before. I love using them to find new angles of the city. The second shot tonight is one that I have done a couple of times. I t includes Curtis Hixon Park, the Tampa Museum of Art and the Straz Center for the Performing Arts all reflected in the Hillsborough River. I felt this one came out particularly clean and sharp.
