Old and New

Today’s two shots are from my recent foray around downtown Tampa. I stopped at a lot of my old viewpoints including the Platt Street Bridge for the classic downtown Tampa View. What was new about it was the lighting on the bridges, an art project called Agua Luces which is part of the Lights on Tampa series of installations. The lights change colors and the pattern on the support column rotates. The second shot of an Angler Fish light is something that I am fairly confident was recently installed. It is right near the Tampa Convention Center which coincidentally is hosting the Republican National Convention in about a week and a half.
