Made a quick walk this morning at the wetlands. Not a whole lot going on but caught a few interesting birds.
Little Blue Heron adult in lily pads and juvenile in flight.
Red-shouldered Hawk calling
Red-shouldered Hawk calling while flying
Cinnabar Bracket and Mallard pair flying overhead
Male Belted Kingfisher in flight. I caught him just as he took off from some power lines.
Northern Mockingbird in flight. Also caught taking off from telephone wires.
European Starlings in flight. Also caught taking off from telephone wires.
I just had a chance to check out your latest pictures. As always, you seem to find the best bird photos as well as other items of interest. I love the Belted Kingfisher and red shouldered hawk
