A little good and bad with todays photography venture. I’ll start with the good. I got my best shots ever of Swallowtailed Kites including some nice flight shots and some cool sunrise shots. I got to hang out with one of my photography friends for a bit. I saw a Brown Basilisk lizard (AKA Jesus Lizard) for the fist time. And the bad. I drove a ridiculous distance and still missed the goal shot I was going to this site for.

The swallow tail: what a wingspan and what a beautiful bird in its black and white simplicity. Also, great picture of the basilisk lizard, also known as the Jesus lizard for its ability to walk on the water.
Gorgeous pictures of the kites and sunset.
I’ve seen the lizards in Costa Rica, but never in Florida. That’s amazing.
Jesus Lizard ! I learn so much ! Thanks !
