My owl nest have all fledged so I decided to go to Fort Desoto this weekend. I hadn’t been for several months and you can always find a good variety of shorebirds there.

Made a quick stop under this bridge for a cool angle.

The park opened 3 minutes before sunrise so I rushed to this spot to grab a few sunrise shots.

American Oystercatchers-They did a changing of the guard where the male got off the eggs and female got on them.

The eggs are well camouflaged but you can see them here just to the right of the bill of the banded bird.
